I’m a biologist, educator, and storyteller. I love insects, plants, and fungi - especially their biochemistry and genetics. In 2022, I completed my PhD at Cornell University in the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior where I studied the molecular and chemical basis of social olfaction in Polistes paper wasps. My research focuses on the application of high-throughput molecular technologies to explore complex biological systems (mostly bugs). In my free time, I go on outdoor adventures and make educational content on TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube!
